  • Pittenweem is a small and secluded fishing village in Fife on the East coast of Scotland. The village sits next to a small working harbour and has a sand/shinge/rock mix beach.

Pittenweem Harbour was first recorded as a port in 1228 and is still at the heart of the village, if you visit the harbour in the early morning you will see the fishing boats unload the days catch. The older part of the village sits beside the harbour and the main shops sit further back from the seafront.

Pittenweem also hosts an arts festival in August.
