  • Silecroft beach is a large sand and shingle beach that always have lots of space.

    The beach is on the edge of the Lake District stretching as far as the eye can see with the main feature being the 600 metres height of Black Combe.

    Note it is not always as windy as our feature picture above.

    Facilities include parking next to the beach, toilets, often an ice-cream van.

      Great beach, amazing mountain view and sunsets.
      The beach is a hidden gem, walk for miles along the sand when the tide is out, admiring the views of the nearby fells.
