The Aberdeen Music Hall is for concerts and is in the original Assembly Rooms on Union Street. Host to the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra this venue provides a variety of concerts and hosts the International Youth Festival, classical concerts, comedy and folk bands. It’s an intimate concert venue and can only hold 1 500 standing spaces or 1 300 seated.
There are some stunning murals designed by Robert Strachan, a local artist in 1899. Concert goers really enjoy the Music Hall Café for drinks, coffee or light meals.
The Music Hall offers a great evening out to a show to all who attend. Whatever your tastes in entertainment, we’ve got it covered. What are you waiting for?
The Music Hall is open from 9.30am – 4pm, Monday – Saturday. On the evening of performances the Music Hall will open about one hour before the performance start time.
