Armagh Franciscan Friary dates back to the year 1263.
Founded by Archbishop O’Scannail flourished until dissolved by Henry VIII in 1542. By 1600 the buildings were decimated and now stand in ruins. The patrons of the Friary were buried there but now only empty graves mark their time in the Friary.
It is open all year to the public.
