Newby Hall is a stately home near Ripon in North Yorkshire.
The main block of the house was designed by Christopher Wren in the 17th century and it has been the family home of the Compton family for nearly 400 years. It features some of Britain’s finest Robert Adam interiors.
The hall is home to a stunning collection of Chippendale furniture and Gobelins tapestries. The gardens are award-winning and they have one of Europe’s largest double herbaceous borders, as well as a woodland walk and a miniature railway.
