Llantwit Major Beach, Cardiff

Cardiff, Vale of Glamorgan, Wales, UK

Llantwit Major Beach is a pebbly and rocky beach at the end of a valley. The beach stretches for a long way in either direction backed by cliffs. Llantwit Major is a good walkers starting point with the rocky cliffs poviding fossils and habitat for birds and cliff plants. Need to be careful as the cliffs can be loose with falling rocks.

Llantwit Major beach is known as a surfing beach and also windsurfing is popular. Care should be taken as the beach is very rocky and mistakes can be costly to kit.
