Nairn Dunes also known as Nairn East beach is to the east of the Nairn river mouth. The closest part is backed by a holiday camp but as you head east you enter into a large dune system backed by Culbin Forest.

The Culbin Forest and dunes extend for over ten miles to the mouth of the River Findhorn.
