Loch Treaslane / Loch Snizort Beach, Aird Bernisdale, The Scottish Highlands

A rocky and rugged shoreline leading to Aird Peninsula, surrounded by Loch Treaslane and Loch Snizort.  A tidal shoreline with abounding nature.  Seals are regularly seen on the rocks, as are Herons and Oystercatchers along with other birdlife. Dolphins were photographed at the peninsula during May 2012.

This area may have a rocky shoreline but I sat on the peninsula during low tide and watched in wonder at the Seals, Herons, Oystercatchers, Gannets, Cormorants amongst other wildlife.   It has a stunning view all the way over to Harris and a return trip in the evening proved this is an ideal area to watch sunsets.
