Porlock Bay beach is pebbles and consists of Porlock Wier and the main beach.
Porlock Weir has a pebble ridge forming the harbour, this is about 80 metres wide by 8 metres high by 800 metres south and a larger element exists north beyond a marsh exit, all held up by rotting wooden piles and concrete bunkers. The high ridge is vegetated and in part stable, some with garden shrubs and Sedum.
