A lovely crescent shaped sandy beach with dunes and woodland at the rear which form a local nature reserve. It is a rural beach with a Green Coast Award. The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path passes along this beach. It is particularly attractive at Sunset when the cliffs come alive with colour.
The beach is good for swimming, walking, boating, fishing, building sand castles and relaxation. Great for families. Not usually a surf beach but when there is surf then it is good surf.
In terms of facilities, there is a public car park, a disabled car park and toilets. There is holiday accommodation in the adjacent Freshwater Bay Holiday Village. There is also a camp site and a Caravan Club site.
We have no dog information for Freshwater East beach.
