Staithes Beach

Quaint old-fashioned village and habour with a small sandy beach in the harbour and a larger rock beach beyond the harbour walls. At low tide a stretch of rock is available to explore.

The village is built along the sides of Roxby Beck which splits the village in two, there's a foot bridge joining the two halves.

Facilities

  • The car park is at the top of the cliffs with a half mile (ish) footpath with steps or steep road leading down to the main part of Staithes harbour & fishing village.
  • Pub
  • Cafe
  • Lifeboat station and gift shop.
