Ainsdale Beach is now recognised as one of the best beaches in the UK for kite activities, with zones set aside for kite buggy, landboard use and kite surfing in the sea. A permit is required before you use a power kite in the kite zone.

The Ainsdale Discovery Centre is situated adjacent to the beach and Ainsdale & Birkdale Sandhills Local Nature Reserve. The centre provides local information, a classroom facility, venue for events and cycle hire.
Toilets, cafes, picnic area. Nearby Ainsdale Village offers shopping and restaurants.
Car parking - Beach parking off Shore Road, Ainsdale. Car park charge Easter to September. No coaches. Horseboxes allowed.
Dogs and horses are allowed on the beach with the exception of the bathing zone during the summer (Apr - Oct).
Horse riders MUST posses current and valid personal and third party liability insurance.
