Kingsdown Beach is part of a large stretch of shingle beach that at one end sits under large white cliffs and in other areas is backed by grass areas. As the tide goes out you get areas of compact sand below the shingle.
Kingsdown beach is located at the northern end of the White cliffs of Dover and are part of the Site of Special Scientific Interest that stretches to Folkestone. The beach and nearby downs are a home for migrating birds and rare plants.
Do you have a local business to Kingsdown Beach? If yes then why not sponsor the beach on Coast Radar for as little as £20 per year.
Our editors will work with you to add natural text, banners and link to the main beach description above, we will then push this out on our facebook page and our twitter feed. This is ideal for any local business, for example a surf school that operates from the beach or a cafe that overlooks the beach. Drop us an email and we can discuss opportunities.
