Whitehaven is a small Georgian town with plenty of character and port on the coast of Cumbria, which lies between the county's two largest towns; Carlisle and Barrow-in-Furnes.

Whitehaven beach is a small pebble and sand beach to the North of the Whitehaven harbour/marina. The walls to the harbour provide shelter.
