Cwmtydu Beach, New Quay

Cwmtydu beach is a sandy/pebble beach with rocks either side in a small protected cove at the end of a wooded valley.

An old lime kiln is at the top of the beach, restored by the National Trust.

Good base for coastal walks as it is on the Heritage Coast Path. From August you have a chance to see Atlantic Grey Seals with their pups in amongst the rocks.

Facilities

Toilets, seasonal cafe, small car park by the beach and a larger a few hundred yards back up the road.
