Street House Cottage
North York Moors and Coast, TS13 4UX, GB
Built in the 1700s, this cottage, set on the owners' working smallholding, has been sympathetically restored and decorated to a very high standard throughout. The restoration has retained many original features, such as a cast-iron range with an open fire to create cosy winter evenings. The patio garden to the front of the property has its own garden furniture, from which you can soak up the sunset with a glass of wine and enjoy the spectacular view of the surrounding countryside. Two bedrooms provide comfortable and stylish sleeping accommodation for groups of up to four people and the sitting area is spacious and relaxing. There is also off-road parking for up to two cars.

The cottage was the warmest and most comfortable we have ever stayed in. Importantly the bathroom, and in particular the bath was large with plenty of room. I am 6ft 3inches and really appreciated the height of the rooms. It was so cosy to return to after a day at, and a 32" TV with a very good picture was an added bonus. We loved the location, rural, and remote, but people also nearby. The owners, were very kind and hospitable, offering us easy chairs and a barbeque to use in their adjoining field.
