The cottage is in a great position, in a hidden gem of a location, on the breath-taking Druridge Bay, with comfort within and the beach just outside.
Mrs Evans, Leicestershire
,Great location. We loved having the beach right on our doorstep and plenty of amenities nearby in Amble. We really enjoyed walking along the coastal path to Druridge Visitor Centre and Amble. The cottage was also conveniently located for visits to Alnwick, Seahouses, Farne Islands, Craster and Alnmouth. We'll certainly be back! Lastly, the bottle of wine and biscuits were a lovely welcome on our arrival.
Miss Munks, West Yorkshire
,A cosy, comfortable cottage with a beautiful beach within moments of the front door.
Mrs Collis, Derbyshire
,The location of this cottage is fabulous.
Mrs Eratt, South Yorkshire
,Fantastic location on the beach. Great character cottage; snug, warm and clean with wi-fi , Sky TV and dog friendly. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for great accommodation as close as you can get to miles and miles of the most perfect beaches. Amble is nearby which was perfect for eating out if cooking isn't your thing. In short, we loved it!!
,The location was fantastic, amazing beach on your doorstep. The cottage was very well equipped, I always take kitchen items that every other cottage we've stayed at didn't have, I didn't need them in this cottage as it had everything you could need and all kitchen equipment was very good quality. The sofas and bed were very comfortable another first in a rented cottage for us. Overall we had a very comfortable relaxing holiday.
Mrs Harrison, Tyne and Wear
,The cottage was in a wonderful location with easy access to the beach, which was fabulous - long stretches of golden sand. The owner was very helpful with suggestions of things to do & where to eat. Would highly recommend & will be booking again.
Mrs Bagshaw, North Yorkshire
,This cottage was excellent; cosy, very comfortable and hard to leave. The location being literally on the beach was perfect and the cycle path was a big plus. Our whole family enjoyed the break and we even spotted some seals on the beach one day.
Mrs Roberts, Cheshire
,We loved Sandy Knowes and its location, right near the beach which meant we could go walking without getting in the car first.
Mr 'wain, Derbyshire
,I spoke to the owner a couple of days before our holiday and found her really helpful and friendly this set the precedent for a wonderful holiday. Sandy Knowes did not disappoint; lovely well equipped cottage in a beautiful location: what more can you ask for from a holiday? I wouldn't hesitate to revisit and would encourage anyone to do so.
Mr Parker, South Yorkshire
,An ideal location for a relaxing holiday, especially for the dog. There was plenty of room and the beach was literally a stones throw away. We would definitely stay here again.
,Sandy Knowles is a gem on the Northumbria coast. The cottage sits about 50 yards from the beach which is sandy and easily accessible. The cottage itself was well equipped and very comfortable. Sandy Knowles will not disappoint and we would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage to our friends and family.
Mr Stocker, Northamptonshire
,A cosy cottage in a perfect location for beach or country walks. There was lots of wildlife and it was good for birdwatching, there is a nature reserve close by. The log burner was lovely. It is excellent for bringing your dog. There are plenty of places to explore within a thirty mile radius, and lots of dog friendly areas. Would definitely recommend if you like a quiet spot.
