We received a genuine welcome from the owners.
The detailed information provided by Sykes was great.
,The genuine welcome from the owners and the detailed information provided by Sykes was great.
,I have to say that the cottage owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome and it was clear to see they had made every effort to make the cottage homely and comfortable. It was a pleasure to stay there. If you like walking, the area is excellent for walks with some beautiful scenery. Good food is available locally and there was everything we needed for a good break.
Mr Robinson, North Yorkshire
,It was a lovely warm cottage with comfortable seating and bed. Our hosts were very friendly and hospitable. The area had beautiful scenery and great trails for cycling along with great cream teas at the craft centre in Longnor.
Mr Mcnulty, North Yorkshire
,The welcome from the owner was very nice. Duncrest was lovely and there were some nice personal touches left by owner. Overall we had a nice relaxing time. The beds were extremely comfortable. The views are stunning, when you drive around. Unfortunately the weather was against us, so it would have been even better had the sun been shining.
Mr Beeby, Cambridgeshire
,A warm welcome received from the friendly owner, Duncrest was a comfortable spotless cottage.
Mr Slight, Midlothian

,A wonderful 'get away from it all' retreat. We received a very warm welcome from the owners and the cottage is immaculate, cosy and very well equipped. It is so peaceful and relaxing with picturesque views from the sun lounge.
Mrs Theophilus, Gloucestershire
,Wonderful cottage in a lovely village location. Would recommend to friends and family.
,The cottage was very well appointed, one of the best we've been to. It was very clean, warm and had everything you needed, the bed was especially comfortable. The owners were very friendly and made you feel welcome. The village had a good pub, fish and chip shop and tea rooms, it was also close to Leek and Buxton.
Mrs Mercer, Derbyshire

,The cottage was in a beautiful part of Derbyshire/Staffordshire, it was very well equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. The owner could not have been more helpful and the parking was in a secure courtyard.
Mrs Mercer, Derbyshire
,Everything about this property was high standard. The hosts were there to greet us and show us round and were very helpful. The close proximity to the lovely village was a plus. We have had about 17 cottages through Sykes now and this was one of the best all round.
Mrs Lawson, Shropshire
,I liked the village location; the essentials were close by, all just a short stroll. I liked the layout of the property with having place right on your doorstep to park your car very handy for loading and unloading when coming and going also nice that it was in a gated courtyard so was away from the roads. The area is beautiful and the hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and were a great help in the planning of our days out.
