We had a wonderful week at Oughtershaw Hall, the good weather was the icing on the cake. The accommodation and setting are perfect and for a week's holiday for fourteen people with a pool it couldn't be bettered.
,This property exceeded all expectations. The owner was great, very welcoming and informative as well as personable. We have had a great experience here and would happily come back.
,An absolutely beautiful property, the 5 star rating did not disappoint. It was luxurious yet comfortable, thoughtfully and stunningly equipped and decorated. Wonderful for 16 people to sit and eat together in the fantastic kitchen/diner and the gorgeous sitting rooms, yet there was space for those who wanted to escape to cosy quiet areas also. Had a great pool and games room. A perfect escape enjoyed by young and old.

,We liked the large kitchen and the lovely sitting rooms with log burners were very cosy. It was very clean throughout the whole house. The pool was the icing on the cake, loved by all especially the children.
,Everything was of high quality and working and everything available for self catering. Lovely pool! Excellent manager on site and good location.
,The grounds of the property were wonderful to explore, whatever the weather. The property itself was outstanding and it was wonderful for the family to spread out for individual time and also to get together as a whole group. It was brilliant to have the swimming pool and sauna for those 'not so dry' days! We loved playing games in front of the open fire in what became our 'family games room.' It was great too for the 'boys' to watch the footie in one room, for the 'girls' to chill and watch a film in another room and for granddad to watch his TV programmes in his snug! We loved our time at Oughtershaw Hall.
,We were all thrilled and amazed by every aspect of the house and grounds as well as the constant support given by the owner. The pool was used at least once every day. It seemed that everything had been considered and catered for in advance. The surrounding countryside is also stunning with so many walking tracks and a gorgeous pub within walking distance.
