This is a fabulous cottage for a family get together. There was plenty of space in a modern setting with a lovely outdoor area for sitting, BBQ etc and good parking for the cars. A very well equipped kitchen with everything that you need and the property was spotlessly clean. We were made to feel very welcome by the owner and that nothing was too much trouble. The two local pubs both do very good food, the staff were really friendly as well. The cottage is in a great location for walking, a bike hire centre is just up the road with lots of cycle tracks throughout the forest. About 100 yards away is a steam train line where you can see the trains from the back garden as they turn around. There is so much to do in this area that it's a difficult choice what to do in a short time.
Mrs Lloyd, Shropshire
,Every aspect was absolutely superb, can thoroughly recommend.
,A wonderful cottage! Much nicer than we expected, the pictures don't do justice to just how nice this place is! A lovely location as well, with plenty to do. Would highly recommend!
,A great house, a lot of time and effort has been made to bring this property to a very high standard. In a wonderful location.
,The property was very clean, warm and the kitchen was well furnished. The open plan layout meant it was ideal for our group. I spoke to the owner on a couple of occasions and he was very friendly and helpful.
,The house was lovely and spacious, very well equipped and nothing was missed out. The location was also excellent.
,Perfect size and space for a family get together.A lot of thought has gone into all aspects to make it a perfect rental. The owner was a perfect host at showing us round and checking all was well.Furniture of high standard.Lots of games including small pool table which was loved by all.A perfect time had by all.
Mrs Holt, Somerset
,This holiday was to celebrate my wife's 70th birthday with our children and grandchildren. The grandchildren loved the games tables whilst we were able to sit and talk, there was plenty of places for us all to separate and not interfere with the others. The wet room was brilliant as was the underfloor heating throughout the house.
Mr Knight, Bedfordshire
,The layout of the cottage worked well for us as a group; there was plenty of space and it was clean and well maintained. It was also very well equipped which really did make it feel like home from home, The cottage location was ideal to get out and about to explore the Forest Of Dean. I wouldn't hesitate to book the cottage again.
Mrs Sabin, Worcestershire
,For families spread around the country, in our case Loughborough, Manchester & Plymouth the location was great and the house excellent. Everybody loved it and we are hoping to go back next year.
