Property Feedback

This is the 4th time we have stayed at Potts Cottage because it has fantastic views, is in an ideal location for visiting sites of interest, is easy to get to and is always comfortable, so much so that it is very hard to leave!

,Lovely cottage, large open plan lounge. Kitchen makes it feel very spacious but very cosy with log burner. Very well appointed. Great location with views from lounge and patio and footpaths close by for handy dog walks from the door. Visited Shining Cliff woods about 15 mins away for really good dog walking.

,The views from Potts Cottage were superb along with the overall charm of the cottage. We also enjoyed reading through the guest book. The fact we were given fire lighters and our own fuel was a nice touch too. I have an open fire at home and realise the expense, so to be given fuel is definitely something not to be overlooked our under appreciated. The location was absolutely perfect too, we couldn't have booked a prettier spot. The cottage itself was spectacular with all the beams and furnishings which aptly matched the building and its surroundings. We are not the type of people who visit places twice, Potts is definitely an exception to this rule. When you arrive you will see why. There is no better way to bring in a New Year than a cottage break, we are so pleased we chose Potts.

,We had the best holiday ever at Potts Cottage. The scenery was breathtaking and the wildlife (owls, bats, pied wagtails) provided us with some magical moments. The Cottage was so peaceful, the bed was extremely comfy and the wet room was excellent for me with my disability. We had a fantastic week made better by the sunshine everyday.
Mrs Maguire, Lancashire

,The Cottage was very, very clean. It was comfortable and well fitted out. My little dog loved the garden and I liked the patio furniture. The oven and hob were great, accurate and easy to use.

,The location and the cottage itself were just perfect, could not fault it at all. A real bonus was having an enclosed garden for our little dog but also having a shared garden to walk around. It was so quiet and peaceful. We will certainly be looking to visit again without any hesitation.
Mr Rodwell, Suffolk

,The cottage's location was perfect, and the views are amazing. Even with the poor weather, our holiday was great. Cottage was warm when outside was cold and cool when outside was warm.
