The website photos don't do this accommodation justice! The cottage has been made so cosy and welcoming for our arrival, we couldn't have asked for more to set us up for the week. It was clean and comfortable. The cottage is in a perfect location within walking distance to a convenience store, two local pubs, a bakery and the train station which was very handy! We can't wait to go back again!
Miss Smith, Derbyshire
,A lovely, homely cottage. Right on the river in a perfect location and very close to a couple of excellent pubs serving great food. All in all one of the best holiday rentals we have used. Highly recommended. We will be going again!
Mrs Barton, Greater Manchester
,Beautiful cottage in a picturesque village with a lovely river running past the front of the property. Would love to stay there again.
Mrs Lindsay, Greater Manchester
,From the booking, follow up, directions, welcoming email from the owners to the obvious care and very high standards in the cottage, it was a wonderful holiday. All instructions and information was clear and everything worked perfectly. There was everything we needed for a 'home from home' and we would love to visit again. We thank the owners for their many personal touches.
Mr Davies, Cheshire
,This cottage is set in the most beautiful spot. There is a river running by the front door and pubs and shops close by. Cartmel was only a few miles up the road and it was in a good location for all the main attractions. The cottage was lovely inside; everything has been done to a high standard and there were very comfortable beds. We enjoyed the beautiful log burning stove and would certainly visit the cottage again.
Mrs Gillies, Cambridgeshire
,The cottage was very peaceful with the river running directly along the front. It was very comfortable and beautifully furnished with everything we needed. The cottage is a few yards from the local store, and bakery ideal for fresh bread each morning. There was plenty of information about the area and some lovely walks close by. All in all a lovely place to stay.
Mrs Kerr, Hampshire
,This cottage was a delightful place to spend a week's holiday and recharge your batteries. It was well equipped and quiet, cosy and warm in the evenings. The village was also well placed for daily excursions to the southern lakes, or gentle walks in the local area.
Mr Davidson, Lincolnshire
,Beautifully decorated and cosy, having everything we needed including comfy beds. Also located near pubs and shops.
Mrs Lambsdown, West Yorkshire
