What a wonderful holiday cottage managed by a lovely couple! The owners were so welcoming, warm and helpful throughout our stay; offering day trip and restaurant recommendations, it was a pleasure to stay next door to them for a few days. The holiday cottage was perfect for us - it was cosy yet spacious and the décor was lovely; stylish and snug with comfy leather sofas and beautiful fabrics throughout. The kitchen was very well-equipped and both the kitchen and bathroom were bright and spotlessly clean. The wood burner was a lovely touch and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing evenings out on the terrace. The setting was also fantastic; close to amenities yet very rural with beautiful countryside views. It was wonderful to get a view days' peace and quiet in such a lovely cottage, I honestly cannot fault our stay at Jay's Hatch. A five star holiday cottage with five star hosts. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone seeking to relax and unwind in a lovely peaceful setting in one of the most beautiful parts of the country.
,A lovely cottage on a beautiful farm, we were made to feel very welcome. A lovely place to go for anyone of any age.

,The owners were excellent hosts. The cottage was presented in a lovely manner, and the hosts were very friendly and courteous, a real delight and will definitely recommend to friends and family. Fishing on site was great and sampling the home produce was great. The hot tub at night in the surroundings was lovely.

,The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The facilities were very good and sole use of the hot tub was available throughout. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to family and friends.

,Having spent 7 nights in this wonderful retreat with it's picturesque views we were sad to leave. This was the first time we have visited Jay's Hatch but it certainly will not be the last.

Dr Sandhu, West Midlands
,What an amazing place to stay. The cottage was immaculate and so warm and cosy. The bed is super comfy and we loved the log burner too. Couldn't pick any faults at all. The owners are fantastic hosts, they made us feel so welcome and have done a great job with the cottage. It really is a home from home. The kids loved the animals, especially having the pleasure of bottle feeding the baby lambs. Also it was amazing sitting in the hot tub at night in such lovely surroundings, gazing at the stars. Would definitely come back.
Miss Wood, West Midlands
,We liked the hot tub to relax in, with country views and walks around the lake and beyond. The owners made us feel genuinely welcome and at home. The cottage is in a beautiful location and extremely comfortable. We were warm and cosy when it sleeted but able to take full advantage of the large sunny patio overlooking the lake, once the weather improved.
Mrs Grant, Hertfordshire
