Inside the extended and refurbished interior was charming, bright and cosy. The garden was neat and a good size, with views over fields. The neighbours were welcoming and the owners have made sure you have everything you need, from egg cups to a washing machine. The beds were comfy and everywhere was spotlessly clean! We found everywhere to be within east reach - Maryport, though not 'pretty pretty' had a lovely little tourist centre, cafe, aquarium, marina and the Lord Nelson pub which is fab. Cockermouth is really nice. We preferred it to the tourist centres like Keswick which is also in easy reach. Buttermere is close, and by far the most beautiful lake we saw. The Coast and castles are also nearby. A very reasonable price for a lovely cottage. We'll go again, highly recommended! Thanks.
Mrs Kelsall, Warwickshire
,On arrival at the property we felt like we were home. I would definitely recommend this cottage, it is in a very friendly village.
Mrs Mcritchie, Clackmannanshire
,This was a very comfortable and beautifully kept cottage with excellent equipment throughout.
Mrs Cruickshanks, Fife
,The cottage was very comfortable and well furnished. There was a local shop within walking distance and other facilities nearby. The cottage was ideal for exploring this somewhat overlooked but fascinating corner of England, as well as the more popular area of the northern Lakes.
Mr Barrett, North Yorkshire
,The cottage was fantastic; well located and suitably furnished with amenities. It was lovely and clean and we can't wait to go back.
,A lovely cottage which was nicely put together. We enjoyed ourselves very much and would go again or recommend to friends or family.
