Absolutely fantastic accommodation which was a pleasure to stay in. Clean, tastefully decorated and well equipped. A stay in February meant some cold days and nights but the property was very cosy and warm. The main room is south facing over farmland so there is plenty of natural light and the lane is very quiet so we were not disturbed by anything at night and slept very well. The owners were very welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. Perfect. Would definitely go back again if visiting the area.
Ms Lowe, West Sussex
,A very comfortable stay in a well equipped property. Attention to detail by the owners was excellent and very friendly with a lovely welcome pack. We had great weather and enjoyed walking in lovely countryside, sometimes straight from the village. There were excellent pubs with food in the village and good cooking facilities in the lodge.
Mrs Smith, Greater Manchester
,The accommodation was of a very high standard, with good quality furniture and furnishings. The area is particularly beautiful and the location of this lodge is very peaceful.
Mrs Vickers, East Riding of Yorkshire
,In a lovely position with two good pubs near by, and we were able to access many walks straight from the property. Had a lovely garden with seating and views. It was quiet and rural but also close to the main road. Everything was fresh, clean and of a good standard.
Mrs Copperwheat, Bedfordshire
,Excellent accommodation on a lovely peaceful site, with very helpful friendly hosts. In a very pretty village with two very good pubs! A beautiful area with lots to see.
Mr Hogg, Devon
,It was a lovely relaxing break and the hosts were helpful and friendly. We will be back and would recommend to others. Top marks - faultless!
Mrs Heidi, Lancashire
,We particularly liked the proximity of lovely hill walking and also of Shrewsbury and the smaller towns and villages to Ashes Lodge. The feeling of being close to nature especially in our little garden. The friendliness of our welcome and the owners concern that we were finding our stay comfortable....which we were!
