Property Feedback

It was a great pleasure to arrive at the cottage and find such a lovely place to stay. We particularly liked the kitchen dining area with the low, beamed ceiling and log burner which was warm and cosy during the chilly evenings. The view to the rear over the valley across to Penn Hill was stunning and the differing light on the landscape was a joy.

,The cottage was a real home from home. It is wonderfully decorated. We loved the wood burner on the cold evenings. The village was in an ideal location with lots of fantastic local walks and we took advantage of the pubs in the nearby villages for some great food. A fantastic Autumn break and we will be back again.

,The location of the cottage was great and many lovely places in the Dales were easily accessible. It was very cosy around the fire in the kitchen area. The kitchen was well equipped and the fridge was a very good size. The owner was particularly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The views across the Dales from the cottage are wonderful and one morning we watched the sun come up from the bedroom and it was absolutely beautiful. Would recommend this delightful cottage for a break away.

,A beautiful cottage, very dog friendly, warm, cosy and in a lovely quiet village. Stunning views with fabulous walks right from the doorstep. The kitchen was so well equipped and a pleasure to use. The beds are very comfortable and the bed linen pristine and luxurious. There are lovely pubs very close by with excellent food. I cannot fault this cottage and location, can't wait to return.

,Emcot is a charming period house tucked away in the peaceful hamlet of Preston under Scar, a perfect location to explore the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The house spans over three floors, with a Juliet balcony on the second floor, the main living room, " what a view". Fully equipped with every mod con and packaged beautifully, with really lovely decor. I would wholeheartedly recommend this home from home, as the base for a wonderful scenic experience. The house itself has everything you could want and more.
