The sauna and real fire were lovely touches. The cottage is in a fabulous spot - just next to two excellent pubs and with lovely views. Everything was spotless.
,The house is set in a fantastic part of the lakes. It has two very nice pubs within walking distance and plenty of room for 10 adults and 2 children.
,We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old Joiners Shop and would highly recommend to other family members and friends. In fact, one of my friends has already asked me for the details as they are looking to book after seeing my photos. The house itself is set in a gorgeous landscape and only a 15 minute drive to Windermere.

,The property was perfect for two families, with plenty of space for everyone to be together or break into groups in the various sitting rooms. We loved the sauna after long days walking. The cottage has a fabulous outlook and was only a short walk to restaurants and a village store. It was a perfect holiday location and accommodation for two generations of family with something for everyone.
,We loved the space the house offered. The garden was perfectly adequate for our granddaughter to play safely. The bedrooms were gorgeous and so too were the bathrooms. We found more than enough crockery and cutlery too.

,The Old Joiner's Shop was a wonderful place to stay for three nights, with family from Australia, who were overwhelmed with this property. It is in a wonderful setting, and is very well furnished. Everything we needed was there and it made our holiday in the Lake District something to remember fondly. Would love to visit again.
