The Cottage was cosy and comfortable and the location
was in a quiet position. Ideally located for visiting York.
,Lounge is particularly comfortable with two large sofas and a multi fuel burning fire. Would cope well with a full house. Had very nice bedrooms, we just used the double bed but the twin bed room was even more attractive. The cottage is in an interesting location with good off road parking.
Miss Meredith, Shropshire
,Marston Grange Holiday Cottage was a real home from home, and very well equipped. Everything in it is of a good standard, and the sort of place that you feel you could live in, let alone holiday in - we certainly felt at home there for the week we stayed.
Mrs Hogan, Gloucestershire
,The cottage was an ideal place to stay for going to York, Harrogate and passing through some pretty villages. The cottage itself was exactly as depicted on the website.
Mrs Duddy, west lothian
,The cottage was lovely. The kitchen was well appointed and the location was beautiful! I would certainly recommend this cottage to anyone. It was a lovely stay.
Mrs Rehill, FL - Florida
,The location is very good. Close enough to York to visit but still rural. Plenty of places to visit. Cottage was very comfy with lovely views and steeped in history. Strongly recommend.
Mrs Harrison, Merseyside
,The cottage was warm and comfortable amid all the floods in the surrounding area.
Mr Ross, Lanarkshire
,Enjoyed my stay very much - 5 star.
Mr Lewis, Tyne and Wear
,The cottage was beautiful inside and out. It was furnished with expensive looking furniture and fittings. The location was perfect for a quiet break and we had uninterrupted sleep for our stay and felt entirely rested.
,Marston Grange Holiday Cottage is in a very nice cottage in a lovely location, quiet and really nice place for us to have time away.
Mr Witty, North Yorkshire
,A great week away, the owner was very helpful and thoughtful. The cottage was well stocked with equipment and lovely furnishings. The dog loved the garden. Great to see the views from the windows.
Mrs Owen, Merseyside
,This is a well-appointed cottage which is kept meticulously clean. I found it fascinating that it sits in the location of the largest battle ever to take place on English soil. The proprietors had left a couple of hardback books on the subject. My wife and I agree that we would certainly look to returning to this cottage.
Mr Burgess, Suffolk
,It was very relaxing. The cottage was super, in a quiet spot but with easy access to York and other areas.
Mrs King, Kent
,The cottage was in a lovely location surrounded by open countryside but close to York. We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is close to Tockwith which had two nice playgrounds for our small children, and the garden was a massive bonus.
