The surroundings are great. It's a perfect base to spend time in both areas; Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. Kirkby Lonsdale is very nice village with a lot of facilities and nice shops. There is not much written about this village but it's definitely undervalued. The cottage is in a very good condition. We were very glad that pets were allowed. I can very recommend this cottage to anyone who likes to spend the holidays in a quiet neighbourhood.
,Fleshbeck cottage is set in a lovely rural location. If you want peace and quiet and not to be disturbed, then this is the place. The cottage is comfortable and the fire stove is excellent and a real roaring fire can be enjoyed. The garden is lovely and you can sit outside comfortably and hear nothing but the birds.

,A lovely cottage located in beautiful countryside, with easy access to nice walks and to the local small town. The cottage was very clean and tidy with fully functioning facilities. The owners were very pleasant and responsive if we had any requests and clearly cared very much about the cottage.
Mr Alba, South Yorkshire
,It was exactly as described; very clean and organised, very well equipped and in excellent condition. It had a good shower, very helpful owners and a splendid small enclosed garden. It is in a nice quiet location. Really good value for money.
