Oak Tree Cottage was a great base for a relaxing holiday in the Lake District. Being able to easily drive to the Lakes or stay and walk around the local fells and River Lune was just fantastic. The owner was friendly and extremely helpful.
Mr Philp, West Midlands
,The location is superb. The property is warm, cosy and has everything you need. The outside play area is fantastic for kids.
Mr Joyce, Leicestershire
,The cottage was beautiful and well kept, and the surroundings gorgeous.
Mrs Purdy, Lancashire
,A lovely setting with picturesque views and rural aspect. The cottage was well equipped for the family. Plenty of walks from the cottage or easy access by car to the Lake District or Yorkshire Dales.
,A hidden gem, absolutely excellent.
Mr Marsh, South Yorkshire
,It was a very cosy, comfy cottage with all mod cons. A great base for touring the area; Kendal, Penrith and Keswick were all within a reasonable reaching distance. The scenery was breathtaking, we even saw a steam train and the jets flying down the Tebay Gap were a treat for all.
Mrs Waddington, North Yorkshire
,A very spacious cottage with a lovely kitchen! The views were outstanding, the view out of each window was like looking out to a living picture frame as my partner described it! It was just off the M6 and we were so glad about it! There was good access to close attractions but there was so much to explore just around the cottage! We enjoyed our hike down to the river and up the hill! Will definitely book again!
