The Spinney is an excellent cottage, in an annex adjoining the property owner's home. The interior is spacious and meticulously clean, living room has nice leather sofa's and very comfortable and warm with good sized TV. Kitchen is a great size with everything you could need. We had no problems cooking meals and breakfasts and found everything we needed.Bathroom has a powerful shower over the bath and again, plenty of space in there.Bedrooms very comfortable and plenty of storage for clothes. The setting of the cottage is superb, with lovely countryside all around it. Easy connections to York, Scarborough, Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay, other attractions such as Yorkshire Lavender, Castle Howard and Yorkshire Arboretum right on the doorstep. Super pubs and restaurants close by. We can highly recommend this cottage and will definitely be booking again soon.
