The owners were lovely and left us to our own devices, whilst being available for any questions we had. Gorgeous location and property, everything you could want for a holiday.
Mrs Heyes, Merseyside
,The cottage's location was perfectly placed, close to settle and a drive away from the dales. The views from the cottage are phenomenal and such a beautiful thing to look out at on a morning whilst eating breakfast! We felt that the photos on the website do not do it justice, they do not illustrate the sheer size of the property or display its layout clearly - being on different levels. We also felt that the kitchen was the heart of the property, it was a great space to make meals, have a few drinks and a giggle, I can see it being a wonderful space for families too. It was the perfect retreat for both couples and we wished we could have stayed longer and the owners were extremely welcoming. Thank-you for such a glorious long weekend break!
Miss Watson, West Yorkshire
,We had a lovely time. The cottage was beautiful and peaceful, and the owners were very friendly and helpful. Definitely one of the best cottages we've had from Sykes in the twenty five years we've been using the company.
Mr Percy, Durham
,This was the best property we have ever stayed in, and we have stayed in over 15 cottages in various places in the UK. Everything was perfect; from the furnishings to the décor, and it was very clean. The views from the property were outstanding. We will be back next year.
Mr Mummery, Tyne and Wear
,This cottage is in an excellent and quiet location where you can look across the beautiful views from the kitchen. It is designed over three floors to the highest of standards and really well equipped. A lawned area out the front was also nice for the children to play and the owners were really friendly. From the cottage location you can easily get to places to see and we enjoyed the lovely walks and excellent village pubs. This really felt like home and we would definitely return.
