The cottage could not be any better! The standard was excellent and attention to detail was second to none. Everything was thought of. The general area was quiet and quaint, and with the A66 & M6 nearby it has great connections to all nearby attractions and locations.

,We had a wonderful stay at Bakers Cottage, it was like home from home. The owner had thought of everything to welcome us on arrival. The cottage was immaculate, the only problem was the weather as we were on Amber alert for flooding but the owner couldn't do anything about that. I will definitely return and recommend Bakers Cottage to my friends and relatives.

,Great little cottage in a quiet village that served as a great base for exploring the Lake District. Not a lot on offer in the village itself but the restaurant is great and very accommodating. The owner was really helpful and even came to drop off a highchair the day we arrived as well as posting our steriliser home after we had left it! I would definitely recommend this cottage to couples and small families wanting to visit the lakes.
,An excellent property in a great location and with friendly neighbours. The cottage was better than we expected and we could not have asked for anything more. We will be looking to stay again in the very near future and we have recommended this to family and friends. 110% perfect throughout!
