Stacey Atkin, Lancashire
,The cottage was well appointed spacious and warm. Everything worked. In a very good location next to 2 golf courses with eating facilities at these. Had good walks from the door and a pub within walking distance. In easy reach of Lancaster and a supermarket. It was nice and quiet, had plenty of parking and nice helpful owners next door. The peacocks were a bonus.
,The cottage is in a good location with a nice outlook. Good sized rooms and very comfortable.
Mr Johnson, Cornwall
,I loved the dog friendliness of the place and the big paddock at the back of the property. The owners were nearby and very obliging. The beds were the most comfortable I think I have ever slept on, including my own!

Mrs Maude, West Yorkshire
,A very warm, cosy and well equipped barn in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed looking out on the sheep and the visiting peacocks were delightful, thank you.
,Basil Barn is in a very good location for exploring North Lancashire, the South Lake District and the Forest of Bowland. The barn is a good size for six people and a toddler and is well appointed.
,We were immensely impressed by the welcome given by owners. The property exuded class and we were very pleased with all aspects of our stay. It was comfortable in every way and it is in delightful surroundings, the added delights of the two goats and the peacocks made for a memorable stay. Fully recommended.
