The accommodation was excellent with a home from home feel. The owners couldn't do enough for you and were very nice. Would definitely recommend.
,We particularly enjoyed the peace and quiet, it was impossible not to relax. The views from every window were stunning, as were the sunsets, definitely a 'feel-good' cottage.
Mrs Cooke, Cambridgeshire
,The owners were lovely. The welcome we received was so warm and friendly, this really made a difference. The lovely log fire in the living area. The location, the views were amazing from all the windows in the house particularly the kitchen. There were walks directly from the house onto the moors and easy accessible to The Dales by car. This was our second visit.
Mr Dabeedin, Hertfordshire
,The cottage was spacious and furnished well. Also, Royds Hall Cottage was lovely and warm; the log burner, though not needed for heat, was kept flickering because, well you've just got to at the festive time of year, haven't you? The owners were always friendly and welcoming but did not encroach upon our space.
Mr Foley, Greater Manchester
,The cottage was ideally situated for walking straight from the door. The furnishings were carefully chosen and the layout of the rooms was good. The double bed was particularly comfortable. The views were lovely. The owner was delightful and helpful. We had a very relaxed stay.
Mrs Lewer, Surrey
,The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We loved the size and location of the cottage it was beautiful. The holiday was very relaxing due to the fact that the cottage was beautifully kitted out with nice furniture and beds. It was also warm enough as some cottages can be on the cool side. It was like a home from home and I would thorough recommend it to anyone wanting beautiful scenery and a relaxing, cosy cottage.
