Lovely cottage in pretty surroundings, would definitely recommend for walking holiday in this area. Had a private enclosed garden for sitting out.

,The cottage was lovely and the location excellent for getting to all areas of the Lake District. We enjoyed the walk from the cottage to Coniston. We can also recommend the two nearby pubs for meals.
Mr Lewis, North Yorkshire
,We loved it here, it is our second year visiting and we have had two brilliant holidays. A home from home. Perfect location for exploring the area. Look forward to coming over again.
,The photos don't do this property justice. It was far better than we imagined, probably one of the best places we have stayed in. It made an excellent base from which to explore the Lakes and visit places of interest.
,It was spacious and well proportioned accommodation and dog friendly. It was well situated to local pubs and there were plenty of paths off road in all directions to walk without having to drive.
Mr Wallace, Tyne and Wear
,What a lovely cottage, we can't wait to go back! The cottage was everything and more that we wanted; immaculate and so comfortable and it's in an excellent location with a great pub next door!

,Everything was perfect; the location, garden and the fact that we could take the dog. We will be booking again.

Miss Alcock, Greater Manchester
,A fantastic cottage in a quiet location near a couple of good pubs and a small shop. It was within walking distance of the lake which was an ideal place for our dog also, there were plenty of routes to take. Would definitely look to book here again in the future.
Mr Bond, Lancashire
,This was a very nice cottage. Everything we could wish for. It's well located, on a main road but quiet. Plenty of information about the area available. We would certainly recommend it and will be booking here again in the future.
Mr Cartwright, West Midlands
,The property was roomy and very well appointed and the location was excellent. Despite being on a main road, once in the property and in its lovely garden it was very tranquil and relaxing. We loved seeing the birds and the rabbits in the garden. It was nice being able to go on walks straight from the cottage. The proximity of the two pubs and deli was great.
,We had a lovely stay. The Station Master's House has pleasant rooms. We had everything we needed in the kitchen.
