Had the freedom to enjoy and relax, was stress free with a homely log fire and all the comforts I needed. The hot tub made a good end to the day and the contact I had with the owner made me feel comfortable with all that was there to enjoy. One of the best breaks I have ever had and would recommend the time there to anyone. The perfect place for two persons to enjoy, I would certainly go back there for another break.
Mr Milligan, Renfrewshire
,I came away from my holiday so relaxed! Tthe hot tub in winter was a fantastic experience; we loved it.
,The location was fabulous, the facilities were really great.
Mrs McLoughlin, West Yorkshire
,This was an excellent location for a weekend getaway, and would also be for a longer stay. The village has many amenities, and the chalet is very well equipped and secluded but still with good transport links all around. Everyone in the village was very friendly, interested to talk to us and help us with anything they could. I'd have no hesitations booking again.
Mr Headland, Hampshire
,We loved the cottage & location and enjoyed our stay very much. The quality of the cottage is high.
Mr Burr, Lincolnshire
,Very well equipped cosy cottage. In a great location - remote but still easy drive to Oban.
Dr Robertson, Renfrewshire
,It was well presented, like a 5 star hotel. I enjoyed the hot tub.
Mr Bullen, West Yorkshire
,The chalet décor is better than the pictures show. It was very clean, tidy and spacious. Perfect for a long weekend away. I took my dog and found the garden to be safely enclosed, large and well kept. Weather is always interchangeable so having the option to use the outdoor hot tub or indoor hydro bath was a huge benefit. The washing machine and dishwasher was an added bonus to our relaxing weekend, not one dish was washed by hand which added to the holiday feel.
Mr Yuiill, Lanarkshire
,The Polfearn Chalet was fabulous, every detail had been well thought of to it make it a home from home. We will be returning again soon.
Mrs Dicken, Berkshire
,A lovely property in an excellent location, with easy access to all areas and good local amenities.
Mr Kirk, Lincolnshire
,The cottage was the best we have ever stayed in. Really happy with it.
,A very comfortable property within easy reach of the village of Taynuilt and within a short road/rail journey of Oban. The quality of the fixtures, fittings and furniture were of the highest order. Two further pluses were that the property was on one level and parking for the car was immediately outside the front door.
Mr Cooksley, Herefordshire
,Everything was fantastic! Everything was so nice inside and the hot tub was amazing; a very roomy place with lovely furnishings and finished to a high standard. A great place to go out and explore, we had a wonderful holiday.
Mrs Williams, Sir Ynys Mon
,The cottage was exactly as promised. The hot tub, which was our main priority, was excellent. Everything else was as described and first class.
,Beautiful Chalet in beautiful surroundings. Owner really friendly and helpful nothing too much trouble. Will definitely re visit.
Mrs Lightfoot, Lancashire
,The location is fantastic with lots visitor attractions within a good distance. A nice spacious luxurious lodge. Little extras were appreciated, such as, flowers in all the rooms and a little cake waiting fir our arrival.
Mr Friend, Fife
,My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Polfearn Chalet during our long weekend on the west coast. It was like a home from home with everything we needed to be more than comfortable and some great instructions and tips for exploring the local areas left for us to peruse. The hot tub and bathroom jacuzzi were particular highlights during our stay in the Chalet, as were evenings curled up on the sofa with a glass of wine by the log fire.
Dr Demetriou, Middlesex
,We really enjoyed our stay. The Chalet was very comfortable and the log fire and hot tub were fantastic. The location was good. We would highly recommend this chalet.
Ms Ferguson, Roxburghshire
,We particularly liked the welcoming feel of the property; all the little touches generally found in high end hotels. The Hot Tub was great and the garden was teeming with birds which was great for bird watchers.
Mrs Thomson, Fife
,A lovely chalet in a beautiful area, would go back and would recommend to others. The whole holiday felt like a totally relaxing luxury retreat.
Mr Fox, Nottinghamshire
,The chalet was clean and warm with plentiful supply of towels in the bathroom. I can't think of anything it lacked! The hot tub was a new experience for me, it was nice to relax in it at the end of a long day. Overall, I would recommend this chalet both for it's lovely position and quietness.
Mr Harrison, Greater Manchester
,Taynuilt is an unspoilt, quiet and traditional Highland village with superb surroundings thanks to Loch Etive and the walkways alongside and further afield. Recommended are a visit to Falls of Cruachan, Angus Gardens and the remote parts of Loch Awe which can be reached by local buses from Oban which pass through Taynuilt. From my visit to this beautiful part of Scotland last year I knew some of its attractions but discovered quite a few more. Polfearn Chalet would suit people who love to be in the middle of a stunning countryside and still be able to get to places such as Oban and Islands quickly. The Chalet's beautiful interior design and various comforts makes it a very enjoyable short-term home after being out all day or for having restful days inside it and or on the deck. Despite some people living close by, the premises on which the Chalet stands are very quiet, as is the whole of the farming land surrounding it.
Ms Fiedler, Bremen
,We had the most PERFECT week at Polfearn chalet. The Chalet itself was so lovely, little touches made it feel like the owners really cared. The decor was modern and not too fussy, but homely all the same. All you needed in the kitchen to cook any meal, bathroom was excellent. We took our dog and 4 month old baby and we will definitely return. Hot tub was the icing on the cake and we had many pleasant evening, watching the swallows with a glass of Prosecco. The surrounding area was beautiful, and the scenery is spectacular. It helped we also had perfect weather!!
Mrs Black, Greater Manchester
,This cottage was very peaceful and cosy. I thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub even in the rain. It is in a very handy position for touring the West of Scotland.
