The cottage was very easy to find, everything was as described and cosy with the fire lit. There was lots to do and see in the area, walking in the woods and watching the deer was amazing. Port Patrick was lovely and walking the coastal path was breathtaking.
Mr Duerden, Greater Manchester
,A cosy cottage in beautiful surroundings, it is central to be able to visit all parts of the coast, which we did. It also had a lane behind with woods leading to gardens and the mansion house which was ideal for taking our dog for a walk.
Mrs Bradbury, lancashire
,The cottage was lovely; very cosy and containing everything we needed. There were plenty of shops locally in Stranraer which was only a few minutes drive away. There were beautiful gardens to wander through about a mile away and we found Portpatrick a lovely little village. There were great walks for the dog as well.
Mrs Jones, Staffordshire
,Had excellent access to the main routes and there was a lovely beach just a short drive away and it was so quiet. Countryside or coast was accessible within a short time. Enjoyed every day, wish we could have stayed longer.
Mrs Welch, Derbyshire
,This cottage was a little piece of heaven set in beautiful gardens, in a stunning part of the country. The cottage itself was immaculate and well equipped with everything we needed. We will definitely be booking again.
Ms Clarke, East Lothian
,The cottage was well appointed and the amenities perfect for us. We found it to be a delightful place to stay in.
Mr Oliver, Somerset
,Lovely cottage, very central for the area. We were very comfortable, good blend of old and modern, plenty of character.
Mr Kennedy, South Lanarkshire
,We had a lovely relaxed holiday in a clean cottage. East Lodge is a good base for exploring the South West of Scotland and the surrounding area. The cottage was well equipped and the garden was safe for our dog.
Mrs Laing, Lancashire
,The cottage was cosy, comfy and well equipped with everything we needed. The garden and gravelled areas were secure. We found plenty to see and do, the cottage is just a short drive from Stranraer with plenty of shops and cafes. We would love to go back again.
