The cottage was beautiful and in an idyllic location, it had all you needed for a lovely relaxing holiday.
,A lovely cottage in a fantastic location.
Mr Mccormack, Hertfordshire
,Loved the property, everything we needed was there, there was a warm and friendly feeling to this well kept home. The surroundings were great, with river walks and a pebble beach in the next field. It had comfy beds and a well equipped, cosy lounge. There was plenty of wild life around the property including bats, it was a lovely peaceful location. Nothing to fault at all, we will return.
,The Cottage was in a fantastic setting, right next to the river and in a peaceful setting in spectacular countryside. We were looking for a holiday " away from it all " and that is exactly what we received. We have stayed in cottages and lodges for the past 15 years and this is by far the best. Myself and my family all love this cottage and are already considering a week next year.
Mr Mcintyre, North Lanarkshire
,This is the ideal cottage if you are looking for peace and quiet and a clean and comfortable accommodation. It was one of the best we have been to over the years. We will certainly return.
,The cottage was just perfect for Christmas: quiet, cosy and warm with a good supply of logs. Very clean, comfortable and well cared for which made us feel very welcome. Perfect if you like a rural location with peace and quiet. Lovely gardens, the dogs loved it; perfect.
Mrs Jones, Northumberland
,Loved the cottage and the location was good. We felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. The view of the river was amazing, we could have watched it all day. We loved having the log fire lit in the evenings, it was so cosy.
Mrs Kinnear, Renfrewshire
,It was very peaceful and the log fire was fantastic. The level of cleanliness and little touches such as electric blankets, welcoming wine/snacks + dog treats were lovely. Our every need was anticipated with instructions about barbecues, towels for the river etc. We were very happy and satisfied with our holiday and felt it was super value for money.
Mr Laing, Cumbria
,Holmfoot Cottage, overall, was an excellent cottage in a superb location. The log fire with plenty of logs and coal is a nice touch, especially in the cold weather. Will visit this cottage again.
Mr Alexander, Tyne and Wear
,Holmfoot Cottage is the best cottage we have stayed in, it was warm and cosy and the surroundings are beautiful, there are no complaints only praise. Our dogs had the best time playing in the river and all the long walks we went on.
Mrs Blacklock, Nottinghamshire
,Everything we want in a holiday cottage including beautiful peaceful surroundings, the bonus of a riverside pebble beach & a garden swing seat which we were able to enjoy to the full because of good weather. There were beautiful views from every window.
,The property and the location were both superb, we couldn't have wised for anything better. A real gem of a cottage. Loved every minute of our time there.
,The location was excellent and secluded, just what we wanted for a relaxing holiday. It was away from traffic which is good for any dog. I would recommend this Cottage to anyone. The Cottage was very clean and everything we needed was there. We loved it so much we will be returning.
