It was an easy walk into town but far enough out to be quiet at night. Stunning view from balcony.
David Perrins, Lincolnshire
,Everything in Mariner's Rest was was lovely and in a prime location for town centre.
,Love Whitby and the location of the Mariners Rest was perfect.
Mr Blake, Lincolnshire
,Lovely light, airy, well decorated cottage with everything needed for our family group. Had excellent walking access to Whitby but away from the busy centre. Parking outside the cottage was a bonus too. We have had a great week and hope to return.
Mrs Emmerson, Wiltshire
,In a great location, only a short walk to town, and in easy reach of all facilities and access to walks etc. There was a really good selection of pubs/restaurants - we were spoilt for choice! The cottage owner was available if we needed anything (which we didn't). It was an ideal cottage for families, it was very warm cosy and comfortable.
Mr Craner, Warwickshire
,We love Whitby, we go there every year but it was the first time that we had stayed in this property. We loved the house and the location, the trains that go past did not bother us at all, in fact they sort of added to the enjoyment, we will be back next year hopefully.
Mr Eaketts, Warwickshire
,A lovely house with everything a large family group could need. The furnishings were excellent even though this was a dog friendly property, really clean and with the joy of steam trains outside the door! The boys loved dashing out to wave at each one and the lovely people who waved back. I'd recommend this to everyone and would happy to come back. An added bonus in Whitby was parking for up to three cars!
Mrs Wilcock, West Yorkshire
,The house was excellent and in close proximity to Whitby town centre.
Miss Barkey, Norfolk
,Excellent accommodation in a great location, close to all the amenities Whitby has to offer, the car stayed on the drive all week.
,Lovely house, home from home. Luxurious master bedroom and a very comfortable home.
Mr Lewin, Northamptonshire
,An amazing place to stay, it was easy to find and it had everything you could need. It was a 5 minute walk to the supermarket and not much longer into town. The house was beautiful, the bedrooms were all good sizes and we never had any issues with space in the living area as they have two large sofas and 2 large comfy chairs. Would recommend to anyone.
Mr Cook, Durham
,This is a well appointed cottage, we have never had the amount of kitchen equipment at other properties. The standards overall are excellent, we particularly liked the location.
Mr & Mrs Wrigley, West Yorkshire
,A very spacious, well planned and furnished house in a good location. Everything was just right. The steam trains passing the garden was a real bonus.
,The house is situated close to all Whitby amenities, ideal for relaxing and local walks. The locals were friendly and the steam railway passes at the bottom of the garden several times a day.
