The property has four ground floor bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms; three doubles and a single. Upstairs is a fitted kitchen and a dining room with an archway to an attractive sitting room. Outside is off road parking for four cars and a patio. Sandown makes a very convenient base for enjoying the amenities around this part of the Lake, or for exploring Ambleside or further afield to the lakes, waters and tarns of the beautiful National Park.

,Sandown was perfect for an adult family like ours, with our own en suite bathrooms and the large, shared living accommodation. The location is perfect for walking down to Bowness or up to Windermere. A very nice place to stay.

,Lots of space and lots of extra touches. The glasses, crockery and kitchen equipment are the best I have ever seen in a holiday let. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding lovely and fresh, and lots of coat hangers!
