Pill Rags was a charming very family type of house; oldish with plenty of character, a charming Conservatory (which we used a lot) and a lovely garden. The house was warm and cosy and the beds were lovely. The village was delightful with loads of friendly people (and their dogs). Loved the unspoilt history of the place, but it was also very convenient to M20, Kent coastal towns, as well as London and Airports.

,This holiday home is very spacious, well insulated and warms up easily. The kitchen is well-fitted and the bathroom is roomy with a very effective pumped shower. The comfortable lounge has sofas and an armchair, the dining room is light and airy and looks out on the garden, which has (for warmer weather) decking and barbecue. The house has homely peculiarities, and we were very content there! Being located on the edge of the village, there's views of the surrounding fields. The pub, in walking distance, is popular, and we went to eat there. Walks and South Coast entertainments are easily accessible, as is Canterbury of course. We enjoyed our stay!
,Pill Rags is a wonderful no frills holiday cottage perfect for families with very young children. The two cot beds, children's toys, stair gate and high chair were a huge bonus for us as we were there with two children under 2. The location is superb for getting either south to Dover, east to Canterbury, Whitstable and Ramsgate or west to the National Trust properties around Tenterden and the Battle of Hastings. I would certainly recommend this place to any friends or family.

,The situation of the cottage meant it was very peaceful and quiet and extremely restful. It is a village I know extremely well so I had a good idea of where the cottage was. The overall condition of the cottage was very very good and comfortable. I have never been in a hired cottage that was as well equipped as this one. I shall certainly book it again and I would certainly recommend it to anyone who asked.
