We love the peace and seclusion of Schoolmaster Pasture and it's homeliness. We loved it all.
,The property is spacious and well equipped. The Aga is a fantastic feature for both warmth and cooking facilities and is the heart of the welcoming family kitchen. The whole house is comfortable and the quality of the bedding is excellent. The owners of the property are friendly and accommodating and they made sure that our children had the best holiday - inviting them to see and pet the newborn lambs on their farm! The location of the property is perfect for outdoor lovers, with bridleways and footpaths being immediately accessible. Lots to see and do in the local area also. A great place to relax and unwind, we highly recommend Schoolmaster Pasture!
Mr White, West Yorkshire
,This is our 2nd year there as a family (6 of us last year and 7 this year with our new addition!). In a fantastic location. The house feels like our second home, it is comfortable, warm and we love the Aga and coal fire. Walks form the door are great and you can relax and forget all life's worries.
Mrs Connell, Dorset
,The location was great, and the friendliness of the owners was superb. The cottage is comfortable, warm and well equipped, we will definitely return.
Mr Nicholson, Norfolk
,Beautiful spacious cottage with friendly owners Sitting around an open fire Cooking on an Aga for the first time
Mrs Burstow, West Sussex
,There were 10 of us across 3 generations holidaying together so the spaciousness of the property and its comparative isolation were much appreciated. The children could go off and play in one room while something else happened elsewhere. The environment of the property is beautiful and on fine days the sunset and sunrise were glorious.
Mrs Evans, South Yorkshire
,Cannot recommend highly enough. If you are outdoors people and love walking and cycling it is perfect. Personally and as a group we couldn't fault it.
Mr Jenkins, Durham
,Schoolmaster pasture is a wonderful, warm and large farmhouse. Beautifully remote with excellent walking and running from the door. Would highly recommend to anybody looking for an active yet peaceful holiday. The AGA was brilliant, and the information file was one of the most comprehensive I've encountered. Loved the fact that there were local walks and maps enclosed. Excellent for a group gathering, with large bedrooms and a beautiful shared bathroom. Not on the website but there is a separate toilet downstairs.
,Schoolmaster Pasture is a lovely cottage, warm and cosy. Beautiful setting in remote countryside, well equipped.
,A real taste of country living in an active sheep ranching area. A nice mix of of old moor living with just the right amount of modern comforts.
,Nice warm house with comfortable and cosy log/coal fire in the lounge. The property was very spacious and had all the comforts of home. There were great walks right from the doorstep.
Mr Benton, Cheshire
,Schoolmaster Pasture is in an excellent location, and is a really lovely cottage. There was all amenities we could want. AGA was really fun to use, and a different cooking experience - plus the kitchen was always nice and warm. We would definitely stay again.
