The owner was very friendly and helpful with all our requests and even brought us extra wood for the fire because the shops were shut on New Years Day. Any villagers we met during our stay were also friendly and helpful. All three pubs in the village were dog friendly and the food at the George was large portions and good value for money. The local butcher (just three doors away) sold excellent produce at reasonable prices. We would definitely go again!!!

,A lovely cosy cottage which was well equipped, nice and clean. Had comfy beds and had a lovely friendly welcome from the owner who gave us some knowledge of the village/walks etc. In a great location with three local pubs which were all very friendly and a great butchers, their pies were to die for. What more could you want on holiday.
