This property was ideal for a family celebration. It had plenty of bathrooms with good supply of hot water. The kitchen was ideal for catering for everyone, and having two warm seating areas meant it catered for all needs. The garden and house was ideal for dogs. The location was ideal for both winter and summer use. The whole house was comfortable and interesting, and had a lovely atmosphere. We loved it! Overall a wonderful place for a family gathering.

,The weather for our stay was amazing which always helps but the overall feeling of the accommodation was that it was attractive and very comfortable. We were a large party and everyone was very happy with their rooms (which is rare!).

,I loved the house. It was cosy, comfy, spacious, well presented, relaxed and everything you could want in a holiday home! We were very happy in this home away from home for a week. As a fortieth birthday with six couples and a baby it was perfect!

,We really enjoyed our weekend at Meathop Hall. The location was good, not far from Grange over Sands or Cartmel. The arrival of snow made our weekend extra special, especially for the children! The layout of the house was perfect for the 13 of us, with comfy beds and warm and cosy bedrooms which were ideal.

,We had an extended family celebration with ages ranging from 87 years to 2 months and the facilities and location were perfectly suited to our needs. We had a great time. There was plenty of communal and personal space, and all the things we needed were there (especially WiFi).
,This is a lovely property set in wonderful scenery. We would recommend.
