A very spacious cottage which is easily accessible. The owner was very helpful and friendly.
,Very spacious accommodation that enabled a large family to reunite and enjoy each other's company without getting under each other's feet! When the sun was shining it was wonderful to sit outside the house, or in the "bandstand" and for a little while watch the wildlife and think that the world is a wonderful place. The bar is a unique feature that allows drinks for the family to be sorted (and consumed!) without interfering with activity in the kitchen.
Mr Cross, Powys
,We loved the uniqueness of the property. It is unusual to have an old pub as part of the downstairs. The bedrooms were really well looked after. So many ensuites just made it so easy for us too!
Mr Mann, West Midlands
,Liked everything, it was a really fantastic venue and the owner was helpful but not intrusive. We all had a fantastic weekend and have recommended widely. The photos do not do this lovely old pub justice.
,We had a fantastic weekend at The Talkhouse. The house was fantastic and perfect for both the adults and the children in the party. We were stuck inside for the weekend because of the bad weather but there was so much space it wasn't an issue. The bar area was amazing. We will definitely be returning!
Mrs Stead, Cheshire
,The Talkhouse is comfortable, spacious with a fantastic bar/pub area, a great place to be together or spread out around the house. We had an amazing Christmas here. The house was clean and we'll equipped with plenty of fresh clean towels. Each room having its own en suite was a massive added bonus I'd definitely consider booking again and would recommend to friends.
Mrs Norbury, Greater Manchester
,This is a special house. It was well equipped and very nicely furnished, we all enjoyed the bar and the open fire. The snug is a really comfortable area to sit and chat. There was lots of space for a large party.
Ms Burgess, West Yorkshire
,Being a converted Pub, there are ample of corners you can slip into and numerous places to enjoy time together. The Garden is well landscaped and the kids loved the time they spent outdoors. Highly recommended for families.
Mr Cavas, London
,The rooms were spacious which is great when two families are sharing with numerous kids! Fabulous setting in the Welsh countryside. The property had great character and history and we fell in love with it.
Mrs Windle, Essex
