This beautiful cottage is perfectly placed for all local beaches/walks/attractions. Lovely owner too. We loved our week at Millers Retreat, so much so, we will return next year!
,Great location, fantastic cottage, well maintained.
,Lovely cottage and a great location. It was very clean, well furnished and decorated.
Mrs Packham, West Sussex
,Excellent cottage in a great location. Highly recommended.
,Where do I begin? The welcome from the owner of this beautiful cottage was second to none! The cottage itself was a real home from home and so comfortable and cosy. A lot of thought has gone into the furnishings and providing a first class stay for guests. The location of the cottage is ideal for touring - and beautiful beaches are very close at hand. We had a very nice meal in the local pub and they made us (and our 8 year old grandson) very welcome.
Mrs Ferguson, North Lanarkshire
,This cottage was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. The owner had left some lovely treats for our arrival which added to the enjoyment of our stay. The overall appearance, cleanliness and added extras were excellent. You can walk to Alnmouth and the location is perfect for the coast, Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle and many other places of interest.
Mrs Dix, Oxfordshire
,A fantastic property. It was very clean, warm and cosy, everything we needed and more. Had a very helpful and friendly owner. The cottage is in a perfect area for exploring the Northumberland coast, there were lots of lovely walks from the village. Good public transport links around the area, even had a day trip in Edinburgh, using the train. Would recommend this cottage.
,A lovely location and a very well equipped cottage. A home from home, extremely impressed with the cottage.
Mrs Sutcliffe, West Yorkshire

Mrs Foulds, Derbyshire
,This cosy cottage is an excellent base for exploring the area without having to use the car. There are lovely walks along the coast and to Alnwick. The station for trains to Edinburgh and Newcastle is a 10 minute walk and the good local pub is 200 yards away. The cottage was warm and well-stocked, and the welcome pack left by the owners of wine, crisps, biscuits and chocolates was amazing!
Mrs Wooster, NORFOLK
,Millers retreat is an excellent base for a Northumberland coastal holiday, comfortable, warm, well appointed and maintained, and in an enviable location We were made to feel welcome from our arrival and thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
Mr Wright, Nottinghamshire
,The cottage was lovely everything was provided for a lovely holiday. There was plenty of information provided about the area by the owners, who also welcomed us on arrival. The village is great, the Pub is just down the road, we had a lovely meal and the dogs came with us. There were so many walks for my two dogs. The enclosed rear garden was great for the dogs. It felt like home from home. This was our first visit to this area but we enjoyed it so much we have said we would return.
