Appleby is a particularly lovely part of the country we hadn't visited before, the people are very friendly and the shopping in the town is great. Lovely local produce sold in the shops and in the local restaurants. Had a wonderful time.

,The cottage was first rate and ideal for our purposes of a winter walking break. It was good to be able to talk directly with the owner and have contact phone numbers in case of an emergency. The cottage was equipped to a very high standard.

,Eden Cottage was well positioned by the river and was great for dogs as it had a long garden. It was within easy access to the local attractions and the lake district.
Mr Kirkham, Tyne and Wear
,Excellent location, very clean and modern. The beds are high quality and very comfortable with good quality bedding. Everything you would need. Amazing garden with deck, view and garden house. Very clean, both bathrooms modern with high powered shower. Everything you would need in the kitchen with a huge fridge. The view is fantastic. Lovely view of the river and church, everything on your door step so perfect for a relaxing holiday away from the city. We've been staying in Appleby as a family for 30 years and possibly one of the best cottages yet.
