Booked this cottage over Christmas and was so pleased to find Christmas decorations had been put up, a real welcome. It was extremely well stocked, kitchen had every utensil necessary. Good choice of DVDs, games, books & tourist information. Centrally placed in the village. Short walk, about a mile to Settle where there is a good choice of shops, pubs and cafes.

,The cottage was warm and cosy, close to town and country, clean and very well-equipped. It had a lovely view from upstairs and was an excellent base for visiting the local area. The owner was very friendly and helpful, giving lots of extra information. We have visited many cottages and this was definitely one of the best!

Mrs Sellers, Merseyside
,The situation was perfect for touring the area such as going to Clitheroe and Harrogate and of course for walking the footpaths. Area was steeped in very interesting history eg Lime Kilns. I think the cottage should be rated more than 3 stars. I have never stayed in a cottage where there has been such attention to detail regarding the equipment and thought gone in to providing everything for your stay.
