The location of the property was great with easy access to lots of lovely walks. Whitby, Runswick Bay, Staithes are all lovely. The Humble Pie N Mash shop in Whitby is a must and it is dog friendly too. The cottage was very cosy with lots of room. I liked the wooden flooring throughout as this is perfect for our dog. It was very peaceful and relaxing!
,In a beautiful quiet location but close enough to Runswick Bay and Whitby for long walks with the dog. The cottage was of a high standard with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend.
Mrs Astley, West Yorkshire
,The cottage gave us a good base to explore the surrounding areas and the owner was very friendly. It was a relaxing holiday.
Mr Barlow, Greater Manchester
,The owners were very helpful and friendly. We loved the cottage, it was perfect for our family and 2 dogs. It was ideally located, just far enough from Whitby to feel relaxed and private, but only a short drive to attractions. We will definitely be back.
Mrs Harcourt, South Yorkshire
,We're just back from a week at Longstone Cottage and what a week it was! This is the ultimate place for dogs. The owners were lovely, friendly people. The views over the North Yorkshire countryside are stunning. Boasting a superbly big open plan living room, the wonderfully-warm cottage is a brilliant base for touring the sensational North Yorks coastline as well as the fabled moors.Ten out of 10.
Mr Williams, Leicestershire
,We particularly liked the peaceful setting of the Longstone Cottage, and the friendliness of the owner. Our little granddaughter enjoyed the horses and running round outside! Overall, we had a great holiday.
